I am an alcoholic.  Took me a long time to finally make a statement like that.  I am not proud but am now honestly confronting my past indiscretions.  I am also a retired military officer, retired federal manager, and a college educator with four advanced degrees.  I am proof that anyone of any social strata can get a DUI, even multiple DUIs.  This review is about Attorney Quinn.  Many attorneys may tell you that they will ensure you are fairly treated in court.  But fair treatment alone won't ensure you stay out of jail.  Many convicts will tell you they have been fairly treated.  No, you need an attorney that a) understands your situation (based upon his own past situations), b) knows all of the state regulatory fabric regarding alcohol and driving, c) has extensive positive relationships established over decades with prosecutors and judges, and d) is enthusiastic to acquaint himself with you and, through energetic due diligence, establish a truthful picture of events surrounding your situation.  Then, through a skillful combination of assembling the facts interpreted in your favor, clever negotiating tactics that rely on deep relationships with prosecutors and judges, and agile, aggressive submission of pleas, attorney Quinn has the ability to achieve favorable outcomes in the most contentious situations. I got pulled over for driving on marked lanes in metro park. I was avoiding the speed bumps from Edgewater Park to Wendy Park. The park ranger pulled me over. He asked me if I would submit to a field sobriety test. I agreed and the officer still arrested me and impounded my car and took me to jail. The officer read me my Miranda rights and then asked me if I wanted to breathalyzer test. I refused after he read my Miranda rights I did not answer any more questions nor did I do a breathalyzer. I have a class A commercial driver's license. I drive truck for a living. I did not know that refusing a breathalyzer would disqualify my CDL. It was not properly explained by the officer nor did he date it. I called two other lawyers and explain to them during my consultation what happened they refuse to take my case. They said possessing a class A CDL that I'm automatically guilty and my license will be suspended for at least a year for a refusal of a breathalyzer. I called Patrick Quinn this gentleman took my case on. He explained to me that I passed my field sobriety test and there was no reasonings for a breathalyzer. But let me say this long story short before I get carried away. This man worked wonders. I was temporarily without a license for about 21 days he got my license reinstated. I have my class A CDL back with all of my endorsements. My car was immediately released out of the impound. I was only charged for a one day storage when it was in the impound for about 5 days. He said there was no reason to impound my car either. This lawyer is truly a God send for DUIs. I thought my life and career would be over because of me refusing a breathalyzer. I only got two points on my license for driving on the mark Lanes everything else was dismissed. If you're in a jam for a OVI or a DUI. I highly recommend this man here. Mr. Pat was absolutely phenomenal!  He helped me get my case reduced when it seemed like I had no way out.  He was so patient as this is my first time dealing with the judicial system in this capacity.  He even called me on a Sunday to chat about court Monday PM.  I can’t say enough about how awesome he was!  I felt zero judgement from him or his staff regarding my situation and they were extremely empathetic. 5 stars — Highly recommend. I was charged with two OVIs just two days apart, and this attorney was able to get both cases dismissed. The process took a few court dates, and I was also able to receive driving privileges while everything was being handled. In the end, both charges were dismissed.
